Prostate Biopsy This patient presented with an elevated
PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen) and enlarged
prostate by physicial examination.
A six (6) pass trans-rectal
biopsy was performed taking core samples from
three (3) regions each to the patient's RT and LT
Prostate gland. Those cores pathologically were
interpreted as BPH (benign prostatic
hypertrophy).
