Gastroschisis Case# 20103 Gastroschisis is a herniation of bowel without protective covering (omphalocele) at the cord insertion area. This patient presented for size/dates and anatomic survey, normal MSAFP and no familial history of birht defects in the immediate family. An isolated gastroschisis is present. All other areas scanned were within normal limits.
